Screw You

I replaced the screen bolts on my bike yesterday evening.

I sang a song of joy as for the last time ever I had to use a pair of pliers to unscrew them because the useless allan key socket on the anodised bolts simple sheered off when the slightest pressure is applied. I then lovingly screwed in my marine stainless steel bolts, and even unscrewed them as well as it was so novel being able to - and gleamed as that are 5mm shorter so no protruding parts on the other side.

It’s often the little things in life that bring the most pleasure.
